Print Title:  Freedom from Want
Process:    Polyester Plate Lithography, Image Transfer, Gesso

Tradition and "progress" can unknowingly determine many of the views we hold.  Norman Rockwell's painting "Freedom From Want" is an example of a mindset that freedom has given us a right to not want.  This in turn has given rise to an excess fueled by a desire for more.  Companies, in a race to feed the consumer appetite, have cut corners and reduced the quality of their products, including food.  When those ideas are challenged or removed what are we left with? What does it mean to want and what is it we are looking for? My print, also titled "Freedom From Want", asks the reader those questions in an effort to increase our own awareness of what excesses may exist in our own lives.
